You are cordially invited to attend the 12th annual MIT Global Startup Workshop (GSW). This year’s conference is scheduled for March 25th to March 27th, 2009 in Cape Town, South Africa. The theme of the conference is The Entrepreneurial Ecosystem: Creating Economic Stability through Entrepreneurship . Topics covered will focus on how students, professors, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and others can work together to build and sustain an entrepreneurial environment that will bring economic stability to their regions. Topics will include an in depth discussion of the role of social entrepreneurship in this environment. As always, networking and discussion will be a strong focus of the conference.
The GSW lead organizers are proud to be working with Wits Business School to hold the first GSW conference on the African continent. There is no more exciting place than South Africa to bring together the world’s best entrepreneurial minds to discuss ways to promote young entrepreneurship and innovation. As an attendee of past conferences, you have the know-how and network to contribute to this year’s discussions – and you understand the endless opportunities for collaboration that will open between this year’s attendees.
The MIT organizers would be honored if you would join us in Cape Town from March 25th through March 27th, 2009. It is an opportunity for you to learn from the entrepreneurial successes of different regions, to share your experience, and of course: to expand your global entrepreneurial network.
